SEO tips: Weapons for climbing rankings on search engines
The course helped me go from zero to having a comprehensive and clear overview of SEO. Although I can't call myself an expert yet, I've understood how it works and can visualize the path for a website to achieve better rankings.
First, I learned about SEO overview
I now have the clearest understanding of what SEO is – it's not about sophisticated tricks, but rather a collection of methods to improve website rankings naturally and sustainably. I learned that the core of SEO is understanding: understanding how Google works, and more importantly, understanding what users are searching for. This was also when I became familiar with the two most important strategic tools: Keyword Research and Competitor Analysis.
After having the foundation, I learned about On-page and Technical SEO.
I learned how to optimize every single detail, from titles, descriptions, and heading tags, to building truly valuable and useful content for readers. I also learned how to arrange internal links logically to create convenient pathways, helping both users and Google easily understand the website.
Concurrently, in the Technical SEO section, I learned how to ensure the website has fast page loading speed, is mobile-friendly, and has a clear sitemap so Google can easily "read" and index it.
Next, I learned how to build reputation through Off-page SEO.
I understand that every backlink from a reputable website pointing back is like an affirmation of my website's value. I have learned how to build relationships and create engaging content to naturally acquire backlinks.
Finally, measure data through measurement tools.
I have learned how to use tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Data on keyword rankings, traffic volume, or user behavior on the main page helps me understand what is performing well and what needs improvement, thereby improving the data further.
